At A Place for Us, our mission is to ensure that every person returning from prison finds belonging, support, and a real chance to rebuild. Guided by peer mentors with lived experience, we provide trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, and relationship-focused services that honor each person's story and build pathways toward stability and growth.

We center resilience, goal setting, and community connection—recognizing that healing and transformation happen when individuals feel seen, supported, and valued.

We stand in the gap by addressing the critical reentry needs often left unmet: employment, stable housing, IDs and documentation, transportation, family reintegration, or dental needs and navigating the complexities of the criminal justice system.
